Tank Engine
Thomas the Tank Engine figures (with magnets) are the standard size of the tracks?

My son just started Thomas Tank Engine collection, including small figures with magnets. It seems we have 2 different sizes of trains. One train was bought only (blank) and is plastic. The other trains are wood and comes with a DVD we bought. These trains also appear to be slightly larger than each of the trains have wooden wheels that are spaced further than the train plastic mentioned above. We would like to expand his collection and buy songs for trains, but do not know what the trains are "standard". Are we still plastic, or smaller timber trains, more trains? Does anyone know exactly? There is no great difference in size, but there is one. Thanks in advance!

Stick with wooden trains. They are the "standard" size. They are more collectible, and safer!
