How do you kill someone with a Rocket Launcher?

Not necessarily real life, just in a game.

Well I’ll assume that it is in Halo.
The Rocket Launcher has 1 lvl scope, you can kill from long range but its no effective at long range cause the rocket travels relatively slow compared to sniper bullets or other guns. Not recommeneded for long range, but you can predict a tanks movement (their huge), and hit an unsuspecting tank.

I would say to kill someone, you do it at close range. Get in close combat with a pistol with another guy, and suddenly pull out the RL, jump back and fire while in the air. So you can more likely advoid recoil damage if he comes towards you.
