Railroad Set

It is the vertical array station near a railroad right of way monumentation real line?

This is in Farmersville Texas. The railroad are set upright in the concrete and is about 3 feet from the ground until the end of the railroad. It's the same material as the steel railroad tracks about fifteen feet away.

It's hard to say exactly what purpose was served by the vertical rail laid on concrete. Looking back to my childhood of strolling along the lines of MKT and around Denison, I have seen some of these also. The experts usually use the center line of the song as a reference point for the right of way. However, in many cases, the topic has been moved or deleted.
