When outside light has an orange / green tint?

I do not think that has to be after the rain, but there are some conditions under which rarely later, the light and not everything that appears to have a green or orange to it. I think you will understand what I mean, sometimes when you look outside and what is usually when it's cloudy and in the spring or summer when the trees have leaves on them, that everything looks green or orange for a few minutes until the sun moves. I think a stupid question, but I am curious.

different sky color is due to the size of molecules in the air. Visible light is made up of outside the colors of the rainbow, and in general conditions Blue (the shorter wavelength) light is scattered samples of molecules. However, weather variables make the size of molecules can vary, and in the orange stage of the redder end of the spectrum is well dispersed. Now I am only level of physics to describe this so do not hold me to it:)
